Blogs in the Classroom
Blogs would be a great way to communicate with my students outside of the classroom. If I was teaching science I could write about current events in the news related to science and my students could respond. If I was doing a unit on plants, I could have the students track their seed's growth through their blogs. The students could post pictures every week, and comment on the changes in their blogs. The students could then look at everyone's plants on the blog.
If I was teaching an english class, I could use the blog for personal reflections and group reflections. If I was teaching art, I could use the blog as a way for students to express their creativity through the layout and uploading photos.
